This leadership course is designed for experienced paddlers who aspire to start as a basic sea kayaking guide or instructor and inspire others in the exciting world of sea kayaking.
Over the duration of the course, you will learn essential skills in trip planning, group management, and safety leadership, ensuring that you can confidently lead kayaking activities in 2* conditions.
Our expert instructors will equip you with the knowledge to assess risks, navigate effectively, and respond to emergencies, all while fostering a positive and engaging environment for your participants.
Whether you’re looking to lead kayak outings or instruct introduction or basic courses in a club environment, this course will refine your leadership abilities and enhance your understanding of group dynamics on the water.

Required
Grunnkurs + Teknikkurs Hav + Sufficient personal sea kayaking experience with a documented trip log (minimum of 10 trips).
Duration
2 days or multiple evenings (16 hours minimum).
Age
From 18 year old.
Included
• Local ISKGA & NPF certified sea kayak instructor.
• Possibility to rent personal kayak gear from us.
Accommodation
If you wish to overnight next to our kayak school, you can book your stay with our partner Ramberg Resort.
Location
Our Basecamp and meeting point are located at the beach in front of Ramberg Resort. You can park in the public parking lot just past the resort, next to the school.

You will receive a list what to bring and prepare in good time before the start of this course.
Weather Conditions
We operate our tours and courses in a range of weather conditions, including rain and less-than-ideal weather. However, if wind or severe weather poses a safety risk, we will cancel the activity and provide a full refund.
