This beginner-friendly 4-hour sea kayaking course is designed to help you develop essential paddling skills while enjoying the beauty of the open water. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, you’ll learn the basics of kayak handling, safety protocols, and equipment familiarity. Whether you want to start a new hobby or simply want to experience the great outdoors from a kayak, this course is a great starting point for your paddling journey.
Upon completion of this course you can receive a “Introkurs våtkort” (certification from the Norwegian Paddle Association, 150 Nok extra).

We keep our group sizes small, with a maximum of 6 participants, to ensure personalized attention and effective coaching for each individual

What to bring
• Warm wool underwear and multiple mid-layers, beanie and socks.
• Snacks and warm drinks.
• 1 set of spare clothes.
Location
Our Basecamp and meeting point are located at the beach in front of Ramberg Resort. You can park in the public parking lot just past the resort, next to the school.
Weather conditions
We operate our tours and courses in a range of weather conditions, including rain and less-than-ideal weather. However, if wind or severe weather poses a safety risk, we will cancel the activity and provide a full refund.
